Painted on location in the 1000 Islands, Upstate NY in October, 2025. My family’s property looks down river toward Chippewa Bay, where Frederic Remington famously had a studio on Inglenuk island. You can almost see Inglenuk from this vantage point, it is behind the most distant left island.
