1-on-1 Drawing and Painting Instruction- $75/30 Minutes

I offer individual instruction and critiques via Zoom for artists who want to identify what is holding their work back and establish a clear direction for improvement.

Sessions can focus on drawing, form, color, structure, painting process, or a critique of your current work. We can also discuss developing your practice, preparing a portfolio, or longer-term private mentorship.

My experience teaching at Grand Central Atelier, the New Salem Museum, and workshops internationally has taught me that improvement often depends as much on identifying blind spots and subtle habits as on acquiring new technical information.

The goal of a critique is therefore not simply to tell you what is wrong. It is to help you identify what matters most, understand why it matters, and determine what to work on next-putting first things first and clarifying the artistic process to a clear, actionable order.

*Note- I will not be demoing in these meetings (I may scribble a visual note for you in a sketchbook), but I will be hosting a Portrait Demo/Q&A via Zoom at some point in the future.
