My grandfather built this dock in the 1980’s on Bilberry Island, a small island he purchased for bird hunting. Warped, weathered, and replaced in sections like the ship of Theseus, we still moor to it to this day. The beavers try to nest beneath it every year. I have many ideas for paintings of this Island and this old dock.
